Black MDF Slat Wall Panelling
Our Black MDF Slat Wall Panelling is made from a 10mm thick, black dyed MDF board that has low levels of Formaldehyde emission and, as its description suggests, is black throughout the entire thickness of the panel.
Each panel is machined with a 29mm wide slat and a 10mm wide x 6mm deep groove and is supplied in convenient, easy to handle, 2440mm long x 390mm wide x 10mm thick strips.
Designed to be easy to install, the panels can be glued to the wall using a slat wall panelling adhesive or, if your walls are not particularly flat, a combination of adhesive and screws, where needed.

Bespoke Black Slatted Wall Panels
Naturally, our standard offering is our most popular format for this style of panel however, as this product is machined “in-house” we can easily produce Bespoke Black Slatted Wall panels to almost any specification you desire.
If you prefer a wider slat and/or a wider groove, no problem. If you have a particular design, or pattern, engraved into your Black MDF Wall Panels we can almost certainly accommodate your requirements upon request.
For larger domestic or commercial wall panelling projects we can also, depending on your location, produce and deliver panels up to a maximum size of 2400mm x 1200mm, or 1200mm x 2400mm.
Finishing Black Dyed MDF Wall Panels
Black Dyed MDF Wall Panels can easily be finished with a coat or two clear water based varnish. You may want to consider sanding inside the grooves prior to the first coat and again if you are planning a second coat. Alternatively we do offer a pre-lacquered for our panels.
If you are considering painting your Black Slat Panels then we’d strongly recommend you choose our Moisture Resistant MDF Slat Wall Panelling option as it is a more cost effective solution for coloured Slat Wall Panelling.
