Walnut Slat Wall Panelling
Our Walnut slat wall panelling is one of three real wood slat wall panel designs we offer. The other two are Oak and Eucalyptus feature a genuine wood veneer and a black dyed MDF core.
The panels are 11mm thick and are pre-cut to a convenient, easy to transport, 2400mm x 390mm. The walnut slats are each 29mm wide and separated with a 10mm wide x 6mm deep black groove.
We offer a matching black-dyed MDF wall panel dado rail that is perfect for finishing the top edge panelling that is not full height.
We would highly recommend that this product is lacquered or varnished to protect it greasy fingerprints and the ingress of dust and dirt. Please note. We also offer a lacquering option so you can just get on with installing your panels.

Bespoke Walnut Slat Wall Panels
Each of our wooden slat wall panels starts life as a veneer faced black dyed MDF board. It is not until we machine the grooves into it that it becomes a slat wall panel. This allows us to adjust the design to create bespoke walnut slat wall panels to suit your exact requirements.
Several wall panel designs we produce utilise the same walnut board and may be worth considering. These alternative wall panels include a tongue and groove, bead & butt, chevron and hexagon designs.
We can also provide bespoke cutting and a cut to shape service for this product upon request.

FAQs
Does this need to be sealed?
Ideally yes. We would certainly recommend doing so and would suggest a water-based Polyurethane clear lacquer. We can provide a lacquering service if needed.
Can I change the width of the slats?
Yes, please contact us with your requirements and we will get back to you with a price.
How do I fit the panels to my wall?
If your walls are clean, dry, and stable, you can use a grab adhesive You may need to pin or screw the panels in places to hold them back against the wall. You can remove the screws the next day, once the adhesive has cured, or paint the heads black to hide them.
