Tongue & Groove Birch Plywood Wall Panelling
We produce our tongue-and-groove birch plywood wall panelling from a high-quality B/BB grade birch plywood panel. The panel has a 1mm thick (prior to sanding) face veneer that is completely plug free.
The multilayered construction of the plywood gives the grooves an interesting light and dark layered appearance. This effect is further enhanced with the application of a clear lacquer.
The panelling is available in six different thicknesses and six groove pitch options. The groove width is 6mm and the depth 3mm. Upon request, we can produce the boards with wider, deeper grooves.
We would highly recommend lacquering the panels to protect them from greasy fingerprints, dust and dirt.

How to order Birch Plywood T&G Panelling Cut to Size
As well as full sheets, we also offer our Birch Plywood T&G panelling cut to size either to fit your walls or as individual panels.
Option 1: Enter your wall dimensions
Our Wall Size option is perfect for single or multiple walls as we do all the calculating and cutting for you.
Enter the desired height you would like for your wall panelling and the actual width of your wall, and we will then cut the panels to fit each wall.
To add subsequent walls to your order, simply add the first wall to your basket and start the process again. If it is an adjoining wall, you will need to remove the thickness of the panelling from the overall length. When ordering via this method, we assume the grooves will run vertically from floor to ceiling.
Option 2: Individual panel sizes
To order individually sized birch plywood tongue-and-groove panels, select the Panel Size option as this allows you to enter the dimensions you need for each of your panels.
You will need to select the orientation of the panels, remembering that portrait orientation is tall and slim and landscape is short and wide.
Whichever method you choose, please remember to select your preferred thickness and the pitch of the groove. We will ensure the grooves are spaced equally from each end of the board.
Full Size Birch Plywood T&G panels
Our birch plywood T&G panels can also be ordered in full-sized sheets; however, the sheets are trimmed to a maximum size of 2400mm x 1200mm for portrait panels or 1200mm x 2400mm for landscape.
Because of the size of the panels, delivery has to be made on our own vehicles, which is limited by the distance the drivers can cover in a day. If you cannot complete your order, we would recommend ordering our panelling packs as we can ship these via a courier to almost any mainland UK destination.

FAQs
What does “pitch” mean?
The term pitch relates to the distance between the centre of each groove. For example, a 100mm pitch means each groove, from centre to centre, is 100mm apart from the next.
Is it possible to customise the pitch?
Yes, however, we provide a selection of pitch options in the drop-down menu above. If the drop-down menu doesn’t offer the pitch you require, we can make it to any size you require.
Can the Birch Plywood T&G panelling be painted?
Yes, it can, however, we would recommend our paintable T&G panelling as it will be a lot less expensive and provide a better finish.
Is it possible to treat this product with wood dyes or stain?
Yes, any wood-based colour treatment should work perfectly with this board. If it helps, we can supply free samples for testing if required.
