Oak faced black MDF Bead & Butt Wall Panelling
The striking black bead and butt effect highlights the golden tones of this oak veneer faced decorative MDF board.
The board is available to order with a choice of bead pitches, including 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 120mm, 150mm and 200mm.
Whilst it is only available to order online in an 11mm thick board, we can offer it in 19mm upon request.
The board is not moisture resistant; however, two coats of varnish/lacquer will resolve this issue and will also protect it from greasy fingerprints and the ingress of dust etc.

How to order Bead & Butt Cut to Size
We offer several convenient ways to order your bead and butt wall panelling…
- Wall Size – pre-cut panels to fit your wall.
- Panel Size – individual pre-cut panels to your dimensions.
- Full size – ready for you or your carpenter to cut to size.
Order Panels by Wall Size
Whether you’re panelling a single wall or an entire room, this is the easiest way to order your panels. Simply enter the height that you would like your panelling to be and the width of your wall. We will work out the optimum number of panels and ensure the end spacings are equal.
To add a second wall, save your first wall to your basket and then start the process again. If your second wall panel butts up against the first, you will need to remove the thickness of the panelling from the overall length of the second panel.
Please note…
Where relevant, you may need to take the height of your skirting board into account.
We will always assume the grooves run top to bottom, floor to ceiling. If you would like horizontal grooves instead of vertical, please let us know in your order notes.
Order Panels Cut to Size
Selecting the Panel Size option allows you to enter your own dimensions for the individual panels you require.
Don’t forget to select the orientation of the panels and remember that portrait orientation is tall and slim, whilst landscape is short and wide.
Whichever ordering method you choose, you will need to select your preferred thickness (when available) and bead spacings (pitch). We will ensure the bead spacings are correctly centred and equally spaced along the board, particularly on the ends.
Full sheets
You can order full sheets in either landscape or portrait format. In either case, the grooves will run vertically, from top to bottom.
If you would like your grooves to run horizontally, then order your panel in the opposite format, portrait instead of landscape, landscape instead of portrait, for example.
