- Please note, the machining process of these panels may cause the material to bow.
The dimensioned drawing shows the profile of the panel when machined with a brand-new cutter. The effect of sharpening on the cutters softens the profile slightly. This is only noticeable when comparing one panel against another that were purchased separately at different times.
Paintable Medium Fluted MDF
We manufacture our paintable medium fluted MDF wall panels in-house from a high-quality MR MDF called Hidrofugo. There are cheaper boards; however, we use this superior board for its excellent paintable qualities.
The design features a 30mm wide x 5mm deep flute which is available on a minimum board thickness of 9mm up to a maximum of 25mm.
You can order this board online either unfinished or primed. The primed option includes two coats of primer with sanding in between each coat. A light sanding and a wipe down will be required before finishing.
