Our Maple Furniture Board is produced on an 18mm MDF core which, in turn, offers far better qualities than its particle board counterparts. The MDF core provides a cleaner cut, is easier to edge and takes screws better, in our opinion, than the inferior chipboard (particle board) alternative.
The Maple melamine face offers a good rendition of a true Maple board and is suitable for wide range of projects within the home, and commercial projects, alike. Over the years we have provided Maple Melamine board cut to size, and edged, for desk tops and table tops as well as kitchen and bedroom carcasses.
Typically, Maple Furniture Board is supplied in standard sizes up to, an including 600mm. Our board is available up to 1220mm untrimmed and 1210mm trimmed. Due to the unreliable factory finished edge of melamine faced board we would always recommend avoiding 1220mm panel widths.
