Black MDF Tongue & Groove Wall Panelling
Another addition to our extensive tongue and groove panelling range is our Black MDF Tongue and Groove Wall Panelling. We produce these panels in-house using a black dyed throughout MDF board in either 10mm or 18mm.
The boards have six standard pitch options 50, 75, 100, 120, 150 & 200mm each with a 6mm wide, 3mm deep groove. If one of our standard options is not suitable, we can produce the panels to any pitch you require, upon request.
The benefit of using black dyed tongue and groove is that it does not need painting. However, we would recommend lacquering it to protect it from greasy fingerprints and dust.

How to order Black T&G Panelling Cut to Size
Conveniently, we offer two ordering methods depending on your project needs.
The first allows you to enter your wall dimensions so we can calculate the number and size of each panel required.
The second is a simple panel by panel ordering service where individual panels are cut to size.
Option 1: Enter your wall dimensions
Whether you are panelling a single wall or an entire room, the easiest way to order is to select our Wall Size option.
Just enter the height you would like the panelling and the width of your wall, and we will cut the panels to fit each wall.
To add a second wall simply, add the first wall to your basket and start the process again. If it is an adjoining wall, you will need to remove the thickness of the panelling from the overall length.
When ordering, we assume the grooves will run vertically from floor to ceiling.
Option 2: Individual panel sizes
To order individually sized Black Tongue and Groove Panels, please select the Panel Size option and enter the dimensions for each of the panels you require.
You will also need to select the orientation of the panels, remembering that portrait is tall and slim whilst landscape is short and wide (see images to the left).
Whichever ordering method you choose, please ensure you select your preferred thickness and the pitch of the groove. We will ensure the spacings are correctly centered and equally spaced along the board.

FAQs
What does “pitch” refer to?
The pitch refers to the distance between the centre of each groove. For example, a 100mm pitch means each groove, from centre to centre, is 100mm apart from the next.
Can I customise the distance between the grooves?
Yes, although we provide a choice of the six most popular pitch options, if one of these is not suitable, then we can machine panels to any pitch you prefer.
Can you adjust the pitch to fit equally and precisely to my wall?
Yes. Simply tell us the approximate pitch you’d like, and we’ll calculate the exact spacing so your grooves fit the panel width evenly, with an equal-sized “plank” effect.
Can you cut the panels to fit my walls?
Yes, we offer a made-to-measure service. Choose the Wall Size option and enter your wall height and width. We’ll cut the panels to fit your space precisely.
Can you cut T&G panels larger than 2400mm?
Yes. We can up to 3050mm upon request.
