Our paintable wall panels provide the perfect solution for introducing 3D depth, interest and colour to any domestic or commercial interior design project.

Apart from our most basic shaker-style panelling packs, we produce each design from a high-quality moisture resistant MDF as it makes them perfect for painting. It also allows them to be used in high-humidity rooms such as utility rooms, kitchens and bathrooms.

Why Choose our Paintable Wall Panels

We produce our paintable wall panels in-house from a high-quality, high-density, moisture-resistant MDF that is renowned for its excellent paintable characteristics. Compared to standard MDF and other MR MDF products, this board will require less sanding to achieve a good finish.

To make life even easier, each of our designs is available with the option of a pre-sanded, pre-primed finish so that the panels are, apart from a light de-nibbing, ready for you to paint in the colour of your choice.

Choose Your Finish

Our extensive paintable panelling range is available in either raw, unprimed or pre-sanded, pre-primed options to suit your budget or patience.

Whilst the panels are produced from an exceptionally high-quality MR MDF that reduces the preparation time, the raw panels will still require sanding between each coat to achieve a good finish.

Naturally, some of our more intricate designs will be more time-consuming to sand compared to others. Conveniently, this is where our pre-sanded, pre-primed option comes into its own.

Choosing our pre-primed option includes sanding, priming, a second sanding and a second coat of primer. Whilst they will need a light sanding before top coating, it will save you a lot of time and deliver an awesome finish.

FAQ's

Yes. Our panels provide a dense surface that, when sanded between coats, will provide a good finish with either water-based or oil-based paints. For reduced effort and an exceptional finish, we would highly recommend our pre-primed option.

Yes. Moisture-resistant MDF is used to make each of our paintable panels, making them perfect for humid areas such as kitchens, bathrooms and commercial applications exposed to high humidity. Be sure to seal all edges before painting for optimal durability; alternatively, choose the primed option on the product page.

Absolutely. We produce the panels to order and machine them in-house using a precision CNC router. This allows us to cut panels to size or shape upon request. Contact our technical sales team with your requirements, and they will provide you with a quote.

Yes. We offer discounts to our trade customers and for larger orders for commercial projects. Get in touch, and we’ll guide you through the application process.

Yes. We stock Euro Class B MDF boards, which are suitable for commercial or public building projects that demand a fire-rated panel product. Currently, we do not offer fire-rated boards in a primed or painted finish. View our fire-rated wall panels here.
