Bead and Butt Panelling

We offer the widest range of Bead & Butt wall panelling options in the UK. Our online range uniquely includes six “standard” pitch variations and the widest choice of board materials, many of which offer a choice of thickness.

We produce each of our panels in-house using the latest precision CNC routing technology. This ensures consistent, accurate groove spacing, sharp detail, and a clean professional finish across every panel.

The range includes paintable and pre-primed bead & butt panels made from high-quality moisture-resistant MDF, each of which is perfect for painting and suitable for all interior spaces, including high-humidity areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.

We also offer black dyed MDF bead & butt panels which include our stunning oak, walnut, and eucalyptus real wood veneers on a black MDF core.

For a more natural wood finish, our genuine oak veneered panels on standard MDF deliver an exceptionally realistic solid oak bead and butt effect, while our birch plywood bead & butt panels deliver a distinctive layered wood aesthetic.

We supply our boards in a raw, unfinished state; however, depending on the board selected, we can offer the option of a pre-primed or lacquered to suit your project requirements and reduce on-site preparation time.

          Bespoke Bead & Butt Panels

          As we machine in-house, we can produce bespoke bead and butt panels on any material, in any thickness, and with any pitch.

          Materials within our standard offering include a paintable board, a selection of black-dyed MDF variations, fire-rated and birch plywood; however, and within reason, we can machine bead and butt grooves into any timber-based board of any thickness.

          The most interesting feature of bespoke bead and butt panels is the ability to create panels with any pitch, or combinations of pitches, to suit your specific design needs. The ability to alter the pitch is useful where you need a panelling to fit an exact width without odd-sized spacing at either end.
