                      Yes, Plywood cabinets should always be lacquered/Varnished as this protects the wood from moisture ingress and make the cabinets easier to clean.

                      Lacquer tends to refer to a spray finished clear or tinted coating whilst varnish refers to a hand applied clear or tinted coating.

                      Yes, we would recommend either a water based or oil based Polyurethane as it will provide a hardwearing finish.

                      As long as is a Polyurethane based lacquer it does not matter which you use. Water based is more environmentally friendly, oil based will enhance the colour of the plywood.

                      You can, however it doesn’t make sense. We would always recommend using a good quality Moisture resistant MDF as it will be less expensive and look twice as good.

                      Yes. We can build any cabinet to any depth, within reason.
